What skill level do you need to be to attend Girls Day Out event?Girls Day Out events are modeled towards intermediate and advanced female skiers. In order to have a comfortable Girls day Out experience, a strong over all base of skiing is recommended. If you feel your skiing level has become stagnate and you would like to learn new strategies to improve your skills and techniques then our events provide the perfect outlet to help you progress.
Which event would be the best for me?Would you like to improve you big mountain/freeskiing techniques or terrain park abilities? Girls Day Out provides events in both.
If you enjoy: Skiing off groomers, powder skiing, step pitches, rollers, bumps, jump turns etc... We would suggest that you consider attending one of three big mountain/ freeskiing sessions at: Fernie, Red Mountain or Kicking Horse.
If you enjoy: bumps, rails, carving, jumps, skiing switch, staying on groomers.. We suggest that you attend our Park session event at Big White Resort.
If you are interested in a combo camp, both Terrain Park and Big Mountain, be sure to register for the Sun Peaks Girls Day Out event.
What ages is Girls Day Out for?Girls Day Out events promote community building and in order to have a community you need different ages, perspectives and personalities. So if you are a female skier age 14-50* you qualify as the perfect candidate to attend an event!
* If you are under the age of 19 you will need a legal guardians signature.
What if I have allergies or am vegetarian?Girls Day Out wants to cater to your needs and to ensure that you have an all around great experience. So please let us know if you have any food preferences, allergies or medical conditions etc... and we can tailor your Girls Day Out package!
How can I register for an event?If you would like to register for an event please got to our site page entitled registration. Methods of accepted payment include VISA, Master card, American Express... etc.
Upon registration you will also be asked to complete Girls Day Out survey, it is very important that you fill out this survey to the best of your ability because the information will be used for the community building section of the event.

What happens if I get sick, or am unable to attend the event?If you get sick, injured, or unable to attend the camp anymore please send us an e-mail and let us know that you will not be attending the camp anymore. Also please be weary that there is a $20 cancellation fee and this will be charged to your method of payment in the incident of a cancellation.
Does Girls Day Out include Accommodations?Girls Day Out does not include accommodations however, we can link you to affordable accommodations for your stay during the duration of the Girls Day Out event.
What should I bring to a Girls Day Out event?Please dress appropriate for the weather; this may include bringing extra layers of clothing to change into. We also encourage you to bring a business card, or pen and paper so you can swap phone numbers or e-mail addresses with other attendees. We also highly suggest that you bring a pair of shoes to change into to maximize your apres ski comfort.
