Beginner Tour
January 10-11 // February 14-15
This two-day course in the RMR backcountry is for you if consider yourself to be a strong resort skier, and you are curious about the world of backcountry skiing. Maybe you’ve been once or twice, or maybe you’ve never gone at all. You’re looking for a safe space to get comfortable with the gear, practice some avalanche skills, and meet other inspired women+!
Skill Level:
Confident and proficient downhill skier (treeline+ in our skills guide)
Comfortable in varying resort terrain and conditions
Have ski toured 1-5 times before
Comfortable with 400m elevation gain in a day
Eager to learn the in’s and out’s of using a transceiver, shovel, probe, skins
Ready to explore the backcountry knowledge with guidance
Looking for a safe space to learn, ask questions and meet like-minded shredders
