Combo Camp - Resort + Beginner Tour
January 24-26 // February 10-12 // February 26-28
This three-day camp takes place at RMR in bounds & in the slack country and combines the best of both worlds. The first day you will spend the day on the resort improving your ski technique and identifying key areas for enhanced style and efficiency. On day 2 and 3 you will be refreshing your avalanche safety skills and addressing your ski touring curiosities with an ACMG guide. Our goal is to leave with your ski technique feeling dialled & your backcountry abilities built up.
Skill Level:
*Because there is backcountry skiing in this course, you must be a Treeline or All-Mountain skier on the skills guide
No backcountry touring experience necessary
Confident and proficient downhill skier (treeline + in our skills guide)
Comfortable in varying resort terrain and conditions
Comfortable with 400m elevation gain in a day
Eager to learn the in’s and out’s of using a transceiver, shovel, probe, skins
Ready to explore the backcountry knowledge with guidance
Looking for a safe space to learn, ask questions and meet like-minded shredders
