Are you ready to step-up your backcountry leadership and tackle more committing mountain objectives? This camp offers the opportunity to do exactly that with three full days of guided ski touring in Rogers Pass.

Our Savvy Ski Touring Camp is for the female skier who spends an average of 15+ days in the backcountry each season and is motivated to put the pedal to the metal when it comes to touring! Over the course of this two-day camp, you will explore new zones in Rogers Pass, learn and apply leadership skills and develop your skills as a proficient backcountry user. An accomplished ACMG guide will provide you with direct mentorship and all the beta on:

  • Advanced companion rescue - practice rescue scenarios and talk about snow science

  • Skin track setting - learn the art of the ideal skin track

  • Touring - put all the skills together to meet your touring objectives.

Skill Level:

  • Confident and proficient downhill skier on and off piste (all-mountain on our skills guide)

  • Comfortable in steep and varying conditions

  • Regularly ski tour (at least 15+ times per season) 

  • Comfortable doing 1400m elevation gain in a day.

  • Have gone on one or more overnight backcountry trip

  • Own functioning backcountry gear/equipment and understand how to use it proficiently
